Lala's Kitchen began with Percy at his mother's elbow — peeling, stirring, learning the weight of a wooden spoon against a clay pot. Percy learned at his mother's. Between them, three decades of weddings, anniversaries, embassy lunches, backyard quinceañeras, and Sunday tables that ran past midnight — Percy is shifting from restaurants to catering and it services the New England area.
